WEEELABEX(Waste Electricand Electronic Equipment LABelof EXcellence) is a certification body that states that a company meets the strict standards for transporting, collecting, storing and processing electrical and electronic waste (WEEE). How is WEEELABEX certification achieved?

Achieving WEEELABEX certification is a rigorous process that requires a high level of commitment and professionalism. The company must meet a series of stringent criteria including a permit for the proper way to store computer waste, insurance and the inspection of tools and machinery that ensure recycling processes. This also includes implementing specific processes for handling e-waste safely and efficiently, as well as demonstrably training staff to perform these processes correctly. It also requires regular internal and external audits to ensure continuous compliance.

What does this mean for your business?

Choosing a WEEELABEX-certified collector has significant advantages for you as a "disposer" of surplus IT hardware.
