Recycling Best B.V. is a company whose business activities include the collection of equipment and harmless commercial waste for recycling, trading and brokering in surplus equipment and other goods, clearing commercial premises, and on-site dismantling work.

General

1. All agreements entered into by Recycling Best B.V. are exclusively subject to the following terms and conditions. Deviating and additional terms and conditions shall only apply if and insofar as they have been expressly accepted in writing by Recycling Best B.V. By placing an order, the client accepts the following terms and conditions.

2. Recycling Best B.V. will not accept any reference by the client to its own terms and conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Recycling Best B.V. will provide the client with a copy of its general terms and conditions. It is willing to provide the client with a copy of its general terms and conditions at any time, if requested to do so.

Quotes and creation

1. All quotations, however named, provided by Recycling Best B.V. are based on the information provided in the request.

2. The client agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding the advice and rates of Recycling Best B.V.

3. A quotation issued by Recycling Best B.V. to the client is only valid for the period specified in the quotation. If no period is specified, the quotation expires after four weeks.

Conditions collection for recycling.

1. Recycling Best B.V. disposes of waste from electrical and electronic equipment as well as other non-hazardous commercial waste. Hazardous waste such as chemical waste is expressly excluded from disposal. Specifically excluded materials are: explosive substances, compressed gases, flammable and explosive substances, oxidizing and corrosive substances, toxic substances, and radioactive substances. Furthermore, all substances that could be hazardous to humans and the environment.

2. Recycling Best B.V. reserves the right at all times to refuse to collect or transport appliances and goods for recycling without stating reasons.

3. Recycling Best B.V. holds the client liable for consequential damage if incorrect information is provided about the nature of the equipment or waste materials to be removed.

4. Collected devices, goods, and waste materials become the property of Recycling Best B.V. The moment of transfer of ownership is the moment of receipt. Exceptions are materials or devices that contain the materials mentioned in point 1.

5. If the client does not instruct Recycling Best B.V. to delete any stored data that may be present on hard drives and in the equipment to be collected, Recycling Best B.V. accepts no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect consequences, reputational damage, or consequential damage resulting from the leakage or disclosure of data and information.

Conditions for buying up surplus equipment

1. Final acceptance of purchased equipment is always and exclusively based on subsequent calculation, assessment, or inspection after receipt. Reasons for non-acceptance of equipment may include, but are not limited to, equipment being defective, incomplete, or damaged.

2. Recalculation, inspection, and assessment are carried out exclusively by Recycling Best B.V. No correspondence will be entered into regarding this matter.

3. Recycling Best B.V. remains the owner of the equipment.

4. Equipment that is not accepted for purchase can be recycled or resold. There are no costs associated with this. Any compensation will be at the discretion of Recycling Best B.V.

Conditions of clearance and dismantling

1. The client is obliged to ensure that Recycling Best B.V. has timely access to any information and permissions required for the execution of the work.

2. The principal shall be obliged to ensure good access to the work in good time, as well as to make the facilities necessary for the execution of the work, including any necessary connection facilities for electricity. The costs of electricity shall be borne by the principal.

3. If the commencement or progress of the work is delayed by factors for which the client is responsible, the client must compensate Recycling Best B.V. for any resulting damage and costs.

4. If Recycling Best B.V. has to perform additional work as a result of incompleteness or errors in the orders supplied, has to obtain additional information itself, or if the client requests major changes during or after completion of the order, all of which are attributable to and/or at the risk of the client, Recycling Best B.V. has the right to charge the costs thereof to the client in accordance with the applicable hourly rate.

5. Recycling Best B.V. has the right to stipulate that the client pays Recycling Best B.V. an advance payment before the assignment is carried out or completed. The amount of this advance payment will be determined by Recycling Best B.V., taking into account the reasonableness and/or in proportion to the work that has already been completed.

6. Recycling Best B.V. has the right to use or be assisted by third parties in the execution of the assignment, without informing the client and without the client being able to raise any objections, all this with due observance of reasonableness.

7. Recycling Best B.V. will endeavor to carry out the assignment to the best of its ability. However, it can never be held liable for carrying out an assignment that infringes on a right, is contrary to a legal obligation, or is contrary to what is considered proper in society according to unwritten law. Costs arising from an authority or obligation under legislation and regulations that could not reasonably have been foreseen when the agreement was entered into may be charged to the client by Recycling Best B.V.

8. Recycling Best B.V. is only bound by a cancellation or change in or to the order if this has been confirmed to it in writing and accepted by it.

9. Recycling Best B.V. reserves the right to make minor changes to the order without being liable for damages and/or without the client having the right to cancel or terminate the order.

10. The client is obliged to inform Recycling Best B.V. of any hazardous substances and circumstances that could endanger people and the environment.

11. Recycling Best B.V. holds the client liable for direct or indirect consequential damage and reputational damage if no information or incorrect information is provided about hazardous substances.

12. Except in the case of intent or gross negligence on the part of Recycling Best B.V. or those employed by it, any liability for direct or indirect damage – including all material or immaterial damage, business interruption and/or stagnation damage – arising from or during the performance of the work or from defects in goods or services supplied by Recycling Best B.V. to the client or third parties, is excluded.

13. In the event of liability, only damage for which Recycling Best B.V. is insured will be eligible for compensation, and liability will be limited to the amount of the order.

14. When placing an order, the client expressly relinquishes ownership of the estate to be cleared and/or the objects to be dismantled, which will then become the property of Recycling Best B.V. This does not apply to hazardous substances as referred to in Articles 10 and 11 of these terms and conditions.

Applicable law

1. All agreements concluded under these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

2. All disputes which may arise as a result of these terms and conditions or any agreement to which these terms and conditions apply, or which arise as a result of further agreements resulting from such an agreement, will be settled by a competent court in 's-Hertogenbosch.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I also submit as an individual?

Yes you can. Both companies and individuals can hand in during opening hours at our location in Best, near Eindhoven.

Will I be reimbursed for the returned equipment?

Yes, without data destruction, you will receive the current price per kg as stated in our price list upon return. Most items have a value, some are free of charge. Please note! We charge a fee for screens/monitors.

Will I also receive compensation with Data Destruction?

No, for the equipment for which you want a destruction certificate, you will not receive a fee and the rates for data destruction will apply.

What all can I submit?

You can turn in the ICT equipment, parts and circuit boards listed in the price list.

What can't I turn in?

We do NOT accept the following equipment or parts:

  • Large white goods such as refrigerators, freezers and washing machines
  • Refrigeration equipment such as air conditioners and water coolers or parts thereof
  • All types of loose batteries and lithium-ion batteries
  • Toners and Ink cartridges
  • Lamps and fluorescent tubes
  • Metals such as iron, copper, brass and aluminum

How do you pay out or how can I pay?

Disbursement of proceeds is by cash or direct bank transfer. Payments for data destruction, among other things, can be paid in cash or by debit card.

Should I submit everything sorted?

No you don't have to, provided it can be sorted within about 15 minutes. Should it be too much work we will discuss an average yield.
