Secure data destruction crucial
Sooner or later, companies and other professional organizations will have to deal with depreciated ICT or outdated equipment. It is important to collect these devices in a responsible and sustainable manner for recycling or, better yet, circular reuse. When is rocking not possible
Not all equipment is eligible for reuse. If equipment is damaged, defective or severely outdated, data can only be removed by physical destruction. A good example of this is shredding hard drives. These are often somewhat older and not suitable for reuse, but contain a significant amount of sensitive data.
Wiping for reuse
In all other cases, we use Certus Erasure Software for data destruction on devices such as computers, laptops or smartphones. Certus Erasure is an EU-based data erasure provider and certified to the highest assigned security standard for data destruction in the EU.
Data destruction for your
After collection of your equipment by our ICT Collection Service at your location, you will receive a report within a maximum of 5 business days. This serves as proof of certified data removal in accordance with Article 17 of the GDPR (AVG). Download an example of this report.
